Welcome, my name is Adrian Burke
This is my story
I moved to the United States shorty after I finished high school in Jamaica. When I came here, I had plans of achieving my own version of the "American Dream". I always knew I wanted to take on something in the financial world, but I wasn't quite sure what exactly. I went to college to pursue a degree in finance. Halfway through my college experience, my interest in the financial markets grew.
I started learning about the Foreign Exchange Market around February 2017. When I started, I had a vision of being financially free, having time freedom and most importantly being independent and not having a boss. Through forex and trading in the financial markets, I saw this being possible. On April 18 2017, I decided to go all in on forex and that I would become a consistently profitable trader. On that date, I wrote a promise to myself that I would succeed in this journey and that I would never give up until it was achieved.
At the start of my trading journey I was driven by monetary gains due to the way I was exposed to the trading industry. After losing thousands in the first year, I quickly realized that this was not going to be an easy journey or one that would happen in a short period of time. To become the trader that made the huge profits that would achieve my goals, I first had to become an individual that was disciplined and consistent in my work and actions. This led to me starting my journey of personal development where I immersed myself in reading books, listening to podcasts and creating routines and habits that would benefit me in my trading and also life.
I have experienced many highs and lows on my trading journey, but they were all experiences that I learnt and grew from to become the trader that I am today.
Through all this, I have learnt that the road to becoming a consistent and profitable trader is not easy, but it is worth it.

Doing what I love, looking at charts, backtesting my edge and trading.

The day I made a promise to myself to never give up. I wrote down my "why" my reason for doing this
